Formed in 1996, Loadtec Engineered Systems work primarily in the oil and gas industry providing an inclusive design, supply and commissioning package for a broad range of products.
They already utilise a variety of online and traditional marketing methods to engage with their target audience to promote their company and products, attending exhibitions, providing extensive literature and on their website they offer an electronic ‘flip’ brochure.
To raise the company’s profile and increase brand awareness they wanted to exploit some elements of social media, recognising that this needed to be done in a controlled manner as the target audience was widely scattered, and in a very professional high profile industry. They opted initially for LinkedIn as it is recognised as the professional business face of social networking, and approached Zein Marketing to help them develop their brand on the site.
Zein built extensive profile pages with high quality images for both the main home page and products page along with detailed information on the varied product lines. Zein then worked with Loadtec to give them an understanding of how they might best take advantage of the features available through LinkedIn, to engage with existing and potential customers alike and maximise the platform by providing links to and from their website.
