The Goody Bag Company specialises in providing sampling opportunities to brands through the distribution of goody bags at major sporting and leisure events. A successful company that has long established associations with many prestigious events such as the London Marathon.
Wanting to utilise social media as a marketing tool, The Goody Bag Company contacted Zein for advice on which would be the best platforms to engage with both event organisers and brands that might be looking to test new products through sampling. Ultimately the goal was to manage their sites internally, they engaged Zein to initially refresh their profiles on Twitter and LinkedIn, as well as create their Facebook page. After discussions, it was agreed that the sites to be developed would be Twitter and a LinkedIn Company page managed by Zein, with a Facebook page updated by one of their own staff. Zein helped set up the Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn Company pages with profile text and imagery, and posted updates on Goody Bag’s activities along with other interesting content for their followers until they felt confident to dive in themselves.
