British Vehicle Salvage Federation

Formed in 1998, the membership of the BVSF now represents approximately 85% of the vehicle salvage business in the UK. Based in Kent close to Zein the federation has close links with government departments and agencies, the Police, Insurers and other industry bodies representing their membership and provides industry news and articles relevant to their members through their website news pages and a quarterly printed magazine.

Twitter Screen GrabWanting to explore other methods of engaging with their members and a wider audience, they had created a BVSF Facebook page but felt they needed to fully embrace social media to ensure that important news on areas such as legislation reached the widest possible audience. Zein were initially engaged to build new sites on the LinkedIn and Twitter platforms as well as a refresh of the existing Facebook page. Once built Zein managed the sites posting articles and interacting with members and industry stakeholders through regular postings and updates.

LinkedIn Screen GrabTo increase the exposure of important news stories and to have a more frequent interaction with the membership, BVSF asked Zein to work with them to design an electronic newsletter that is broadcast to members on a monthly basis. Post distribution, Zein provides the BVSF with a report detailing the stories that gained the most interest.

Blog Grab As part of our Marketing Support service, Zein content manage the BVSF website ensuring that it is kept up to date with news stories from around the industry, as well as any important changes to legislation that might effect the membership. Zein also maintain a blog site for the BVSF posting stories and sharing them through the various social media platforms.
